PRESENTATION
TO DR. J. L. FRASERHURST A pleasant function took place at the Whakatane Public Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, when the members of the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board gathered to make a presentation to Dr. J. L. Frazerhurst, the previous superintendent of the hospital, who has commenced private practice in Tauranga.
In presenting Dr. Frazerhurst with a letter of appreciation and a suitably inscribed silver salver and muffin dish, Mr J. W. Sumner (Chairman of the Board), referred to Hie excellent work done by Dr Frazerhurst and the happy relations | that had existed between the super- j intendent and the board’s members and secretary. Doctors F. J. Appleby and J. C. Wadmore also spoke in appreciation of Dr. Frazerburst’s services. Dr. Frazerhurst suitably replied. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Matron D. Giffney and members of the nursing staff.
