French Air Force
More Powerful than Germau
Paris, May 5.
The French Air Force is stronger numerically and better trained than the German, and is also equally modern, according to an article in the radical weekly “Notre Temps.” France’s aerial man power, the paper states, is 36,000 the aerodromes aumber 160. being superior in number and quality to the Ger man. France in 1935 will possess 1000 new bombing and fighting ’planes, some of which do 250 mibs an hour, and others 235, with a range of 1250 miles.
In addition there are 150 new Raison ’planes, bssides several thousand older, and 200 commercial and 700 private ’planes could be mobilised for military purposes,
