Albert Ed ward Arthur Harail* ton, who recently paid a visit to Te Puke as a travelling journalist, from Invercargill, and made himself agreeable to local residents, taking a number of photographs of various buildings during the course of his visit, appeared at the Tauranga Police Court recently on a charge of idle and disorderly conduct. Albert did not deny the charge. From the evidence adduced it appeared that the accused who informed his new acquaintances that he was on a walking tour and had obtained the signatures of Mayors and other officials .of the towns ha had passed through, had visited the Mount and Tauranga and departed without paying for his board.
