Whakatane v. Te Puke The following players will represent the Whakatane fifteen in their match with Te Puke, on the Whakatane Domain on Saturday next: — Green. McGarvey, Biddle, Trainor, J. Dodd, Stewart, Pi e, Edwards, Lawson, Brodrick, Moody, Burgess. Mate. Warren. Reserves : S Mason, Stevens. B. Utuku. The Rangitaiki journey to Morrinsville to-mor-row (Saturday) to try conclusions with the Puan Cupr holders. Last year Rangitaiki defeated Waipa somewhat easily but the latter team svas also beaten by Morrinsso that Rangitaiki may have a more difficult task than they anticipate. Farmer will not be playing in to-morrow’s match at Whakatane but he will probably be the only absentee from the team. The representative team to meet Whakatane tomorrow will leave the Post Office at 12 noon. Every player is requested to bring , his own stockings. At a meeting of the looal Union this week arrangements were finalised for the- match with i Tauranga for the Parata Cup. ’ This will take place on the local i ground on Saturday. 30th inst. • The game fur the Phelan 5 Memorial Cup will take place at i Tauranga on July 14. 3 Junior rep. games will be play* 3 ed as curtain raisers to each of t the above matches.
