Obituary.
Lady Mary Brett.
The death took plaee at Auckland on Saturday morning of Lady Mary Brett, widow of the late Sir Henry Brett. The deceased lady who had almost attained 95 years of age, was born at Westfield, Sussex,in 1837, the year that Queen Victoria ascended the throne. She was married in 1864, a few days after her arrival. in Auckland. Lady Brett was a devoted adherent of St. Peter’s Church, and was a generous supporter of all Church activities. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Messrs Arthur and Alfred Brett, Mrs W. J. Rainger and Mrs Walcott Wood. ,
