Whakatane v Rotorua
Twenty-four players, representing the Whakatane Golf Club, journeyed to Rotorua during the week-end and played a match with the members of the Rotorua Club. Fourball games were played both in the morning and the afternoon, and resulted in Rotorua beiog one game up in both rounds —the total result being Rotorua 12, Whakatane 10, two games all square.
