(To the Editor)
Sir.—ln spite of the brilliant merry - go - round entertainment last evening, some yohng men preferred “listening in” outside the Parish Hall while the young ladies were holding their physical culture class. Doubtless, they felt ashamed when disturbed by my arrival, or why should two run off jumping the hedge and startling some friends of mine, who were waiting on the footpath and another take shelter behind a wattle tree trunk, which had not quite the desired effect. Realising this and being fleet of foot, he escaped by means of the Boucher Avenue gate. An . opportunity will be given shortly for the publio to witness some of the exercises and it is to be hoped that Peeping Toms and Paul Prys will refrain from disturbing the class and financially assist on the day to be advertised.—On behalf of the olass I remain, Eleanor Chappell
