The Farmers* Co-operative Auctioneering Company report :~ . ' At the Frankton sale on Tues day. We had a good yarding of beef and a fair entry of fat and store sheep. There was a smaller yarding of fat and store pigs than usual. Beef was firm, prices a par with the previous week. Both fat and store sheep met with good competition and pigs were a little easier. We quote:— Light fat steers £9 to £9 Is, unfinished light steers £5 19s, prime fat cows £8 to £8 7s 6d, jiiedium weight cows £5 18s to £6 store cows £2 17s 6d to £3 ss. Fat light wethers 20s lOd, fat 2tooth ewes 23s 6d, fat 2-tooth black-faced ewes and wethers 19s *ro 20s, small shorn lambs 10s 4d, small store wethers 16s Id, 'good 4 and 6yr ewes 21s 3d, s.m. ewes 16s to 18s 9d, aged ewes 8s to 9s 6d7~ Heavy baconers £2 7s to £2 light baconers £2 2s to £2 ss, heavy porkers £2 to £2 3s, light porkereUQs to 355, slips 14s to 18s, best baconers 10s to 12s, others 6s to 85..,
