MAURICE ANSELL KILLED

’STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR Hamilton, May 8 A fatal motor accident occurred in Upper Victoria Street at nopn to-day, resulting in the death of a young man, Maurice Ansell, aged 21, son of Mr and Mrs Enoch Ansell, of King Street FranktOD, formerly of Te Puke. Young Ansell was proceeding on a cycle along the left side of the road, and essayed to turn into a gateway on his right in front of an approaching car, without giving the "arm" signal indicating his intention to traffic which might be following on behind.

The driver escaped injury other than shock, but two passengers received slight cuts. Dr; Waddell, who was quickly summoned, ordered Ansell’s immediate removal to the hospital, but the unfortunate young man expired before reaching the institution.
