The representative match to be played on the Local ground to morrow between the Tauranga and Te Puke senior teams is ex citing a lot of interest, and there is likely to be a large attendance to witness the-contest. The result of the last match between these teams, when Tauranga won by 8 points to 5, was not held to be a true indication of the merits of the fifteens, as Te Puke had a good deal the best of the game, and consequently to-morrow’s match is looked upon as a test of supremacy.
The following team will represent Tauranga seniors to-mor-row : - Rewiti, D. Borrell, J. Ngatai, J. Tarau, T. Tangitu, J. Don, J. Borrell, Tu Tangitu, Honeana, Bennett,* H. Bidois, D. Munro, C. Borrell, Moorhouse, D. Barclay.
A challenge ha 9 been issued by the Te Puke Union to play a junior representative match with the Rotorua juniors for the Kozie Shield. The challenge has been accepted, the match to be played at an early date.
The match between Poverty Bay and a team from the eastern portion of the Bay of Plenty, plaved at Opotiki last Saturday, rrsul ed in a win for the Bay of Plenty by 12 points to 11.
An application from Gardiner, a League p'ayei, for reinstatement, has been declined by the Rotorua Rugby Union.

The Maori Rugby touring team met Poverty Bay in glorious weather taday. The attendance WcS 3000 The Maoris had the hpft of the fret half, but they tired later, The local forwards beat the opposition, and Poverty Bay woo by 15 points (five tries) to 8
