PTOMAINE POISONING.
Christchurch, Sunday. The Ford family* of St. Albans, had tinned fish for tea last night, To-day, they are in the hospital recovering from an attack of ptomaine poisoning. The sufferers are Jas. Ford, locksmith, and his wife, three sons and one daughter. The fish that caused the trouble was tinned herring, of which all the family partook;. They are out of danger.
