Miss Eileen Boyd, the concert contralto, writes to a Sydney paper from Rangoon, under date 27th June. This artist ieft Australia last December with Edgar Warwick's "Vanity Fail-" party, and made* appearances at Borneo and Manila. The whole tour has been so successful that the company visited Hong Kong thrice, Shanghai and Tientsin twice, followed by Pekin, Swatow, and Canton. The pleasure of sight-see-ing took the actress-singer thus far afield, and, after touring the Malay States, she has already visited, the great capital of British India. Miss Bovd's present idea is to return to Australia before resuming her career in the Old Country. The artists of the "Vanity Fair" party wore Shirley Cooke, who was with "The Dandies" in Bayswater Road, and Mr. George Gray stone, a basso who was for three years with the late Sydney James in the Royal Strollers
