THE AUCKLAND AND SUBURJ- BAN DRAINAGE BOARD. SPECIAL ORDER. Public Notice is hereby given that the following resolution, passed at a special meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board held on MONDAY, August 9th, 1915, and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at a special meeting of the said Board, which will be held in the City Council Chamber, Town Hall, Auckland, on MONDAY, September 6th, 1915, at 3 o'clock p.m., viz.:— "That the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board doth hereby, by Special Order, in terms of Section 62 of "The Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908," resolve to borrow the sum of £100,000 sterling, such sum being in lieu of the sum of £100,000 authorised to be borrowed by Special Order passed on the 26th day of March, 1913, and confirmed on the 23rdl day of April, 1913, which Special Order and all resolutions relating to raising the loan thereby authorised are hereby repealed and this Special Order substituted therefor, without prejudice to any existing rights created thereunder, and the said Board doth hereby further resolve that the debentures andl coupons executed by the attorneys of the Board for the purpose or raising the said loan of £100,000 shall be cancelled and new debentures issued in place thereof, bearing interest at a rate not exceeding £5 per centum, and this Board doth further resolve that such new debentures shall be held by the Bank of New Zealand as security for advances made by the Bank against the said loan authorised by the resolution of the said Board of the 26th day of March, 1913, as confirmed on the 23rd day of April, 1913, and further, that if required by the said Bank a new Deed of Hypothecation over such new debentures shall be executed by the Board, and that in the meantime the Security now held by the said Bank shall not be affected."
