The City Council have set apart a. large room in the Art Gallery and Library Building in Wellesley Street East for the purpose of establishing an Old 'Colonists' Museum, to receive and secure old relics, curios, pictures, prints, books, and articles of special merit belonging to old Colonistsi or their descendants, which wouldi be specially interesting for generations' to come, and as a lasting memorial k> 1 those old pioneers who laid l the foundation of New Zealand's history and prosperity. If you have any such . articles, or know of any worthy of being displayed in the Old Colonists' Museum, please communicate as soon as possible with the President of the N.Z. Old Colonists' Association, the Hon. E. Mitchelson, Little Queen Street, Auckland. The Library and Art Gallery Committee having appointed' a Kuo-eom-mittee on which the Old' Colonists are represented to deal with the. question, it is important that no time shouldi be lost in making an early start with the Museum.
