Jack Bailey, with his motor car, has been chasing round the city on patriotic business for some time, and, of course, breaking the law in regard to speed limits and other laws which are happily suspended while the public pocket is being attacked for patriotic purposes Jiut when the necessity for . chasuig round was over Jack was driving Ms car across an intersection, and didn't notice the commanding hand ot Hop held up against ham. Fine ±,1 a .nd costs. He thinks it hard Jack that, after being allowed to break the law with imptuwty, he should be snared when he hadn't the least desire to break the law.
