SWIMMING
The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association, has been/ unfortunate in losing the services of two. chairmen. The first to go was Mr George Katterns, who enlisted with the 4th Reinforcements. Then Mr H. A. Hyams, after successfully' discharging his duties' took his departure for Sydney. At a recent meeting Mr C. B. Reid, the well known Eden Club secretary was elected chairman of the Auckland Centre.
Another big loss was that of treasurer F. R. Wilson, who enlisted with the 6th Reinforcements. Mr Walters has been elected to the vacant seat.
The Auckland Centre is now issuing orders for trophies won during the past season.
Eden Club prize winers who have not yet received their trophies should forward all claims at once to Mr C. B. Reid, secretary, Woodford Road, Mt. Eden.
