On Friday, 20th inst., the Mariat Brothers Old Boys' Football Club gave an '' At Home" in St. Benedict's Hall,' and the function was a greatly enjoyed one. Mr Buxton, president of the Club, presented the banner which had been donated by Mrs Buxton, Mr McDevitt, secretary responded on behalf of the Old Boys. The hall was tastefully decorated with nikau palms and the footballers , colours ; the supper tables were also decorated with pale blue and dark blue. The winners of the euchre prizes were Mrs Chilsen and Mr Mahoney.
