TJUBLIC NOTICE, In accordance with the provisions of "The Edu cation Act, 1908," it is hereby notified that the nndernamed Candidates have been duly nominated for election as Members of the Education Board of the District of Auckland :— For the NORTH WABD— One Member. ALFBED RICHARD HARRIS, of Bast Tamaki. For the EAST WABD— One Member. LEMUEL JOHN BAONALL, of Auckland ANDRKW JOSEPH FARMER, of Remuera. For the WEST WARD— One Member. CHARLES THOMAS BARRIBA&L, of Waiuku. CHARLES HBNRY SEXTON, of Orey Lynn. The Election of One Member for the EAST WARD, and of One Member for the WEST WARD, will be held on MONDAY, the 26th day of July, 1909. The Electors for, each Ward are the Members of the School Committees within such Ward. Each vote will have a numerical value equal to the number of schools (other than side schools) in the school district. Voting papers have been forwarded by 'post, in registered packets, to the Chairmen of each School Committee for the use of such of the Electors as are Members of that Committee. The Poll will be closed at 5 o'clock in the afternoon of the day of the Election, but all Voting Papers will be included end counted which are received by me in ordinary course of post before the close of MONDAY, the 9th day of August, and are enclosed in envelopes bearing the postmark of a day not later than July 26th, the day of the Election.
