Nautiform is now all right again, and is reported to be moving well at Yaldhurst. The Mauku Cup was won by Lord Seaton, with Lycia. and St. Cyren. in the places. Lord Seaton also accounted for the Welter. The principal event at the Thames Meeting last Saturday — the Autumn Stakes — was won by Carmania. The race was practically won from start to finish, the winner holding the lead the whole way. Okaihau had a fairly easy double win at the Thames Meeting, pulling off both the jumping events — Hurdles and Steeplechase. Red McGregor came to grief in each event, and Waimotu had the same fate in the Steeplechase. Horses and riders escaped serious injury. The sale of Master Soult is announced, at the satisfactory figure of 2200g5. This is 200gs. more than the reserve placed upon him at January last; when he was offered at auction.
