THE MAYOR COUNCILLORS AND CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF AUCKLAND in pursuance of the rrovisioiis of the above Act . hereby gives notice thatit proposes to engage in the following undertaking to wit :— To erect a Town Hall. And to enable it so to do to borrow a sum of Twenty-six thousand poundß at a :rate of interest not exceeding Four pounds per .ceutuni per annum upon the security of the revenues pf the City of Auckland Subject to the existing Loans secured thereon and to be repaid witnin Thirty years from the date it is borrowed. THE MAYOR COUNCILLORS AND CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF AUCKLAND in pursuance of the provisions of the above Act hereby gives notice that it proposes to engage in the following .undertaking to wit:— To purchase Allotments Seven and Eight of Section Fourteen of the City of Auckland. And to enable it so to do to borrow a sum of Four thousand pounds at a rate of interest not exceeding Four pounds per centum per annum upon the security of the revenues of the City of Auckland. I therefore now claim I am entitled to retire from the office of Mayor, in accordance with the conditions stipulated by me to the deputation before consenting to become a candidate.
