A very pleasant social was held in the East Tamaki Hall, tendered by the committee to Mr Emil Schwartze, who ia enjoying a trip round the world, and ia shortly to take hia departure for his home in San Francisco. Great praise is due to the committee, especially Mr J. Finley, who worked hard to make the sooial a success The hall was beautifully decorated with evergreens, and the aupper was all that could be deaired Songs were sang during the Intervals between the danoeß, Mra Bellingham, Mrs Cargo, Mr F. Fairburn, and Mr Emil Schwartze contributing the various items. The dancing was kept up till an early hour, and everybody thoronghly enjoyed the event.
