EAST TAMAKI.
The beginning of a comedy in two acts was performed last bunday afternoon. Act I. represented little J, almost out of his collar with importance, seeing Mrß S home. The curtain will be rung up on Act 11. when somebody breaks the news gently to J O, and then?— But we anxiously await further developments. .As J S cannot find a young lady to take pity on him, he is obligedto be con tent with a companion of his own sex. T F now accompanies him in his walk-* abroad. Flat Bush boys often honour us with their company, since viewing the course has become the fashion. It is a regular white elephant with us now.. What took A A to the Pukekohe Show? Was it because DB was going ?...J P wonders how much news gets into the O when a certain person is carefully excluded from the dances. Dear J, the O M takes such an interest in your welfare that there is every excuse for inqui6itivenees... J D has been racking his brain to account for a certain item in last week's O- Don't wrinkle your manly brow, J. The OM is aware that you possess a good ' f orgettery ' (when it suits you), so call round and you will receive a full explanation.
