The people of this district had an SJ^^K?. dan °c at Mr W. Pollock's last week. Mr G White was M C, and gave every satis faction H H and A W looked very downhearted because K G and N H weren't there L B was complaininK of sickness. I wonder uit was the toothache or the absence of N C that made him look so blue. ..What was the reason that G R and A T couldn't eat any refreshments ? I suppose they thought the society of N P and D C was better than jam rolls or sponge cake.. What made B C and B B visit the vacant room so often ? Was it to ™%.¥ the house was papered, or to spoon ?.. H P had better watch J S, for he is a dangerous rival m the race for A W...GWhad it all his own way with M P...P H seems to be on the look-out for a girl, but they all seem to be ™? d «? m '-- T *£ *! ver y * o Palar among the young ladies in the district. Does he mean to settle down on that three-acre section, and Jive happily ever afterward with AW?
