IBlobbs, having taken a suburban residence at Lake Takapuna, realises how enjoyable is the trip to and fro. ' Can't understand,' says Blobbs, ' how those other people exist in a stuffy town jn weather like this.'

But alasl Things soon revert to the old order. Blobbs begins to cut it fine and miss. his twenty-to-nine boat relisiouslv. But he -wouldn't mind it half so much only that he had to come away without breakfast.
Eureka! Blobbs has found it — that is, a way of combining breakfast with the ride in to the Shore. Now he never comes to town hungry, and he sometimes catches the boat. Kapai, Lake Takapuna !
