THE PRIZE LIST.
ThE drawing of out annual gift distribution will take place next Tuesday evening. We had intended to hold it on Monday, bnt coupons axe pouring in upon us in thousands,and it will be impossible for our clerks to get the whole of the tickets allotted before Tuesday.
Those of our readers who still hold coupons should lose no time in getting them changed into tickets. If yon have not time to bring them to our publishing office post them to us, and we shall carefully allot one ticket for every eight conpons. Extra tickets are allotted to subscribers whose subscriptions are paid np to date, in the proportion of twelve tickets for a year's subscription, five tickets for six months, and two tickets for three months. Subscribers should therefore be careful in seeing that their subscriptions are paid up to date. Default in this respect may cost them a magnificent piano. Subscribers who live in. country districts, who cannot reach us by'post before Tuesday, may wire to us before 5 p.m. on the day that their subscription has been posted, and this will be sufficient. On receipt of the telegram, we shall allot their tickets. Hew subscribers, wishing to participate in the drawing, may do so also by posting their subscription on Tuesday, and wiring us to that effect. Their tickets will be duly allotted. Now is the time to subscribe. You will get the Observer, the best and brightest illustrated paper in the Colony, sent to you for one year, for 13/-, with twelve tickets in our Prize Distribution, and the chance of winning something valuable. Th • drawing will be under the direct control and supervision of a committee of well-known and esteemed citizens, including the three Members for Auckland City, and the full prize list certified to by them as correct, will be published in our next issue.
