Notice is hereby given that, by virtue of a Resolution of the Board of Directors, a Special General Meeting of the above Company will be held on MONDAY, September 28, 1896, at the hour of 3 p.m. in the afternoon, at 26, Shortland street, Auckland, to consider, and, if approved, to pass in its present or varied form, as the Company shall think fit, the Resolution set out below :— 1. That the Directors be, and they are hereby authorised and. empowered to sell and dispose of the whole or part of this Company's property upon such terms, whether for cash or for sharep, or for part cash and part sharep, or otherwise, howsoever, as they shall thinkfit. And for the purpose of affecting any such sale, and thereafter completing the same, to employ and appoint agents and attor neys, and tousetha Company's seal, and sign and execute and deliver all such deeds, documents and writings as may . appear to the said-Directors to be necessary and proper.
