Our little township is improving of late. The new post office is about completed and about time. Football still in demard. and' the cricketers are now making a start for the coming season. .1 was hicky in arriving in time to be present at a social given by the ladies of Ohaewai, which was a great success. .P H ana Miss A, of Kaikohe, were doing it great. G- H W and A B— oh my, what will J K say ?.P W and N B were doing the heavy. How nice, Fred...T W is Waimate • struck. Nice girl Tommy...Little J and Miss W look so nice' Go in and win, Joeie. .Taff and L S were doing the heavy. What would Miss W. of Kaeo say if she knew?...M M says she did not enjoy herself. Why? J B was absent...NP wants a job at note taking. Not a bad hand ' May ' our piano be better by the next social W L says A B does not love him now. Poor chap.. Mrs H was quite taking in her white Bhoes. .W D looked well in his white vest, but the ladies wont bite, Willie F 8 is getting on well at dancjng...G B looked well peeling oranges for Miss M...D P was doing the heavy in the coiner with B W. .Why was our saddler missing ? Was it because A W waa absent ?. . E G says mashing young ladies is better than telegraphy. The O M would have liked to have been in his shoes.
