Is it true that A C and Miss J are engaged, and if so, when isthewedding coming off ?...C Mis all there with M&L Looks as ii they mean business. Rather young, though. . It is very wrong of choirmasters to cast meaning glances at the girls in church. .1 hear that K M and the Thames girl have fallen out. How is that, R? Did she flirt too much?.. Who were the two young men who were dismissed from a certain mine a week or two ago, and why?. ..lt looks as if some of the aristocratic young ladies of Coromrndel are setting their caps at the young doctor. They don't forget that it is leap year. ..What takes J McGover near the K mine so often lately ? Is Miss C the attraction?.. Those two Sunday-school teachers looked very loving together on Sunday afternoon.. Why don't some of the Coromandel girls get up a leap year ball ? Eemember girls there will not be another leap year for eight years.
