Messrs J. Croom Webster and Co. announce the New Waikoromiko special claim, in the immediate vicinity of the Four-in-Hand, which is now under offer to an English syndicate. Thirty shares are being sold to the public at £25 each. Mr A. N. Ogilyie, manager of the Pride of Tokatea mine, has reported very favourably upon the property. Messrs John I. Philips and Co., mining surveyors, announce that in addition to their offices at Thames and Corornandel, they have now opened a branch at Paeroa, which will be under the charge of Mr F. A. Cutten, C.E., late chief engineer, Mount Lyell Mining and Railway Co., Tasmania. In addition to mining surveys, this progressive firm is now in a position to execute every kind of mining engineering work.
