TARADALE
The ball held here on the 26th August was an utter failure owing to the ill conduct of some of the company, and it is a reflection on the committee ih it things were not, carried out on a better scale... How was it that someone from the station was allowed so much say in the matter ? No wonder it was a dead failure. .T R seems first favourite with the girls. Don't be greedy, T. .Too bad of the boys to let H M ' wall flower ' at the ball. No sympathy, 15 ; shouldn't have gone without an invite... J B says none can beat him at the M C business. ' Only two more couple this way, to make two sets.' Don't get wild, J bad form— ahem.
