D U BLI C NOTICE. The Education Board of the district of Auckland, June 21, 1895. In accordance with the provisions of the School Committees Election Act, 1891, the Education Board of the District of Auckland directs it to be publicly notified that a Meeting of Householders to the Ponsonby School District, under the Education Act, 1877, will be held on MONDAY, July 22, at 7.30 p.m., at the PONSONBY HALL, for the election of a School Committee of NINE Members for the said School District. And in accordance with Section 69 of the Education Act, 1877, the Board has also appointed that the School Committee (to be then elected) shall hold its First Meeting immediately after election, at the said Hall. And further, in accordance with the provisions of the School Committees Election Act, 1891, the Board hereby calls upon the Householders in the said district to send in writing, by post or delivery, so as to be delivered to the Chairman of the School Committee, not later than 8 o'clock in the evening of MONDAY, the 15th July, 1895, the names of persons being resident Householders, nominated by them for election, to serve upon the committee. Such nominations shall be signed by the proposer and by the candidate, and I shall be in the form set forth in the schedule I to the said last named Act, or to the effect thereof. Printed forms of nomination may be obtained on application to the Chairman of Committee, or at the Office of the Board. The boundaries of the said Ponsonby School District are set forth as follows :— Commencing at the north head of Cox's Creek, bounded towards the north-west and north by the waters of the Auckland Harbour, to a point being the termination of a right line produced in continuance of Franklin-street ; towards the south-east generally by Franklin-street aforesaid, to the Ponsonby Road, and by the latter road to its junction with Williamson's Avenue, and thence by that avenue to the south-western boundary of the land known as the Surrey Hills Estate ; and towards the south-west generally by part of the south-west-ern and western boundaries of the Surrey Hills Estate aforessid, to the Richmond Road, thence by the Richmond Road to Cox's Creek, and thence by Cox's Creek to the place of commencement.
