The Subscribers and Members of Orchestra will notice that a Tram will leave the Three ■Lamps, Ponsonby, every Thursday Evening at 7.30, for the Choral Hall direct, leaving the Stables at 7.22, returning after the Practice. Laird o' Largo gained first prizes in Carterton in 1884, 1885, 1887, and 1888 (also G.M.), and second in Carterton in 1886, first at Masterton in 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889, also G.M. Champion and special prize of £3 3s, and third at Hawke's Bay in 1888. At Wellington, 1889, took society's prize of £5 ss, champion, and special of £3 3s, and first prize of £5 5s at Gisborne in 1892, also Gold Medal. Laird o' Lakgo by Glengary out of Lochleven; Lochleven by Lothian Lad, dam by Lord Clyde. Lochleven gained first prize at Aberdeen in 1879, first at Glasgow, 1878, second at the Highland and Agricultural Show of England at Carlisle, 1880, second at the Highland Agricultural Show, Berwick-on-Tweed, 1880, and Lockleven as a brood mare has never been beaten in the Colony.
