I see R.S. is back in this settlement. Was M.B. the attraotion?...N.P. and R. D. are doing a fine mash lately.. ..W.P. and M.H. were out the other day. I suppose they made it up. I don't know, boys , but I should think we had better get the tin cans ready.... l don't see G.W. out of late. He has taken a back seat.... W.P. did not keep with M.O. very long. What's np, W., is M.H. the one.P...M.E. is attracted to the B.R. pretty often.. ..ls J. M. the attraction ? That's right, J.M, give us some of the cake ...Waihou races pretty du11.... 1 notice K. is sweet on A_, T. is ditto with C, W. also sweetish with 5....1 see L.S. has taken to R.H. Is it because F.W. wasabßent?
SPIT (NAPIER). Now that M.A. has gone to Gis borne, K.M. will be able to mash over the fence with the other one It was too bad to have kept her waiting 1 so long the other night.. ..L.B. says she will soon be going away for a trip fco Sydney . She will be missed. u.B. says he will die broken-hearted. Never mind, G., there are just as good fish in the sea.... What takes a certain young man up the road so often, is it to meet E.M. ? Be careful, don't let J.S. see you, or he will give you once round.
