The young ladies seem quite delighted to have W.N .back again. ... It is rumoured that there is to be another moonlight picnic shortly, but it is to be hoped that they will have a gentleman driver next time, and not trust so many lives in a lady's hands.... Who was the new masher J. had in the trap Sunday night ? Too bad ; where was H.B. ?
...What takes the young ladies to the Newmarket station so often r Is it to catch the train, or to see the handsome porter ? Lucky boy. E.... Rumour has it that A.C. is about to tie the fatal knot. • Can it be true ? Who has he decided on ? However, the O.M wonld like the silver band to be in good order for the occasion. You have just time to prepare, boys.... Why did the two girls from Upper Remuera not patronise the dance last Wednesday night ? Did they think the company too mixed ? Or was it to give the other girlß a chance ?... What takes T.S. to the bottom of the Avenue so often ? You have no chance whatever T., so you may as well give it up. Only laughing at you.
