OMAPERE.
Bryer's hall was the eeene of a sociable gathering lately. A dance was the centre of attraction. A good number present. G.T. made an efficient M.C. The music was supplied by W.B. on the accordion, the favourite manipulator of that instrument. Amongst the mashers I noticed S M of the Ohaeawai. Most of the dresses worn looked charminar, and I am justified in saying that the honour of belle is due to Miss 8.8. The lovers of Terpsichore footed it merrily till twelve o'clock, when they all dispersed after a very enjoyable evening.
