PAPAKURA RACING CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING.
The above meeting eventuates on Saturday, 17th inst., St. Patrick's Day. Papakura aanaal meeting is a popular fixture with Aucklanders. The distance is not great, and the course and surroundings are pleasant and convenient. The races are v anally well contested, and the management hitherto has not been found wanting in any particular. The following are my anticipations .* Mau>en Plate, 1 mile. — Dorothy, Bulldog or skittles. Hurdles, 1-J miles.— Potentate, Fishmonger or Kildare. Papakuba Cup, 1^ miles.— Rose and White, 1 : Ida, 2 ; Retaliation, 3. Pont Race, 6 furlongs.— Reil, Silkworm or Lady Marion. Railwat Plate, 1 mile. — Ida or Master Pat. Steeplechase, 3 miles. — Fishmonger, Flukem or Kildare. Flying Stakes.— Acacia or Retaliation.
