Chawlie (describing a joke played upon him by another maiden) : " And so I followed her advise and then I found she had made a great ass of me ; haw-haw ! " Jack (mercilessly) : " Ah, and so a woman is responsible for that, is she ? Well, she has very much to answer." And then the rustling zephyrs had it all to themselves.
