AHIPARA.

The O.M. was favoured with a lino night last Saturday to take his notes... The afternoon commenced with L\ B. coming sailing down the beach with A.G. by his side. What will W.M.C., of Mercury Bay, Bay when he hears this... Everybody wants to know who the O.M. is. For thengratification he will parade on the beach at 3 p.m. on Sunday.. .C.M.M., of Pnkepoto, gave a grand ball, which waa well patronised by about forty couples. It was said that such an array of youth and beauty had not graced the floor of the same hall for some time. Dancing commenced at 8 p.m. and was kept up with great spirit till an early hour of the morning. Now comes my most difficult task, namely, who was belle ? I can without hesitation say that Mrs C. took the palm ...Now lam going to give you something nice; yum yum. Wasn't T.H. piling on the agony with Miss B.M. at times.
