D.N. and R.P. seemed to enjoy their walk, when escorting the two Misses A. home. What would J.C. say if she Only knew?. ..S.N. says the Bight of D.R. sets her heart on flame. Is it the whiskers? ...Co in D., and win. ...M.S. of Hunua has quite, a quantity of mashers at the weekiy dance. P.D seems to be the favoured one ? Didn't he look disappointed when she took A.M.D. for.the leap year dance ?...A.M.K. says he will tie the. fatal knot about the New Year, providing the young lady has no objection. ' Hurroo,' boys.. ..J.C. of Hunua, looked like a fish out of water at the dance. Was it on account of D.N's absence ? E.B>. also seemed low-spirited. Waa W. V's absence the cause. ?...How riid M. A.C. and M .W. enjoy their ride to Hunua the other Sunday ? Wasn't it kind of W.B, and A.M.D. to lay down the slip' rails near the river for them ?
