The boys care becoming very anxious to know when J. T. and A. Gr. intend to tie the fatal knot. Three years is certainly rather long to be thinking about such a simple question. In my young 1 clays, as many weeks would have been sufficient, but things have considerably changed siuce then... As the Observer man prognosticated, the knight of the plane has at last embarked in the sea of matrimony. I wish you a pleasant voyage, W., and may the joys of connubial bliss never prove less than they have during the past few weeks... I would advise the young couple who are in the habit of promenading over ' Skeleton' bridge of an evening not to whisper so loud in future, or someone will be taking it down in shorthand. Wouldn't that be horrible P...H. N., of Mareretu, fancies he has made an impression on a certain young lady Is heart. Don't be too sanguine, old boy '...So L. N. has found a beau at last ? Better late than never, I suppose... Miss- — saysthatG.C. is the best-looking young man in Paparoa. Great Scott ! what must the other poor fellows look like ?
