SNAPPERS UP OF UNCONSIDERED TRIFLES.
Kleptomania or petty larceny, not to put too fine a point upon it, as Mr Chucks would say, would seem to be not altogether unknown in Auckland. The kleptomaniacs, be it understood, are not to be confounded with mere vulgar pilferers. Not at all ; the people in question would doubtless scorn to pick a pocket or rob a cash-drawer, but they are not above appropriating small articles, of little value it is true, but still valuable.
