Deafness, and Inflaraaiion of the Eyes are frequently caused by optical defects, and are Prevented and Cured, wirHour operations, by properly adapted Spectacles, made to correct the defective portion of the eye. There are over 500,000 various combinations of Spectacles required to correct these defects — impossible to be kept in stock by any Optician, even in London, therefore, must be ground expressly to meet each individual case.
