HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, of 30 soys ; 2 miles, over eight flights of hurdles, 3ft 6in high. Nomination, TJ soys ; acceptance, 1$ soys. MAIDEN STEEPLECHASE, of 20 soys; once round Steeplechase course, about 1-J miles. For horses that have never won an advertised steeplechase exceeding 10 soys. Weights — syrs, 6yrs, and aged, list ; 4yrs, lOst 71b ; 3yrs, lOst. Entrance, 2 soys. CAMBRIDGE SPRING CUP HANDICAP, of 75 soys two miles. Nomination, 2 soys ; acceptance, 3 soys. CAMBRIDGE STEEPLECHASE, a Handicap of 40 soys ; about 3 miles, over fnir hunting country. Nomination, Ik soys ; acceptance, 2-J soys. STEWARDS' HANDICAP, of 50 soys; 1% miles. Nomination, 2 soys ; acceptance, 2 soys. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, of 10 soys, for beaten horses during the meeting. Once round the course. Entrance, 10s. Conditions. Entrance fee to be forwarded with nomination and colours, age and pedigree of horse, addressed to the Secretary, Post-office, Cambridge, or Mr William Percival, Auckland, not later than Thursday, the Bth September, 1881. Weights will appear in Axickland and Waikato papers, Wednesday, 14th September, 1881, with the exception of Stewards' Handicap, which will be declared immediately after Spring Clip is run for. Acceptance money payable to the Secretary, or Mr Percival, by Saturday, the 17th September, 1881, at 8 p.m. Acceptance for Stewards' Handicap will be received up to half-an-hour before the race. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. No entry will be received except itpon the_ condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 3 soys., which will be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. The rules of the Auckland Racing Club will be strictly adhered to. Ten per cent, from prizes in each event will be deducted for second horse. WALTER SCOTT, Hon. Secretary.
