SERVICE TO MOTORISTS.

NEW SHORTLAND STATION.

MR. G. MINCHER'S ENTERPRISE

MODERN METHODS ADOPTED. The day when motor service stations, to have any claim to that status, had to bear an oily, greasy appearance, is of the past, the modern trend being for spic and span premises, bespeaking an appearance of utter cleanliness, as ably typified by Mr. Gordon Mineher's new premises in southern Pollen Street. Styled on impressive lines, this new station has been designed to offer up to-the-minutc service to tho motoring public, in the minimum amount of time Bowsers—six of them—have been set back from the kerbside, thus climin a ting congestion on the street frontage The motorist can now drive in and out without hindrance and unnecessary manoeuvring. Lady drivers will welcome the innovation.

The glass-fronted showroom is spacious and allows for the ideal display methods. Offices and waiting-rooms—-with one specially for ladies—are included in the new building. At night, well schemed lighting gives ample illumination, and attendants do riot have to attend to customers in semi-dark-ness. In the machinery and repair department a considerable amount of new equipment has been installed, with the result that Mineher's are able to offer unequalled service. Oiling and greasing service is a speciality and is carried out by competent workmen. This service station is open every day and in the evenings, Sunday inclusive, until 9 p.m. .
