IDENTITY SOUGHT.
BODY OF ELDERLY MAN.
FOUND IN STREAM BED,
By Telegraph.—Press Association]. WELLINGTON, Sept. 26.
In the bed of a small stream near Cross Creek railway station, on tho Rimutaka incline, the body of a man between 50 and 60 years old was discovered on Saturday. The man may have been dead for two months. Ho was sft 9in in height, with grey hair and of medium build.
The police are seeking information as to his identity.
