Dairy produce shipments from Ncav Zealand during the month of August totalled 10,080 tons, compared Avith 10,738 tons for the corresponding month of last year, a decrease of 649 tons. During the same period 6141 tons of cheese Avere shipped compared Avith 5829 tons last year, an increase of 312 tons. Might Well Be Transformed. A street corner plot which might well be transformed into a picturesque gar den, if authority could be obtained for such, is that at the junction of Rolleston Street and Karaka Road, At present this triangle is just an unsightly grass section.
