TRIP TO AUSTRALIA.
OTAGO CENTRE’S DECISION
[By Telegraph. —Press Association] DUNEDIN, Sept. 23.
The Otago Centre of the Ncav Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has decided to adviso the New Zealand Council that it preferred to go ahead with its own tour by Australian athletes rather than take part in the council’s proposed Dominion tour. Ted Best (sprinter) and Gerald Backhouse (distances) Avill probably appear at Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland after fifieir Otago itinerary.
