AFTER ELECTION WEEK-END. TBy Telegraph.—Press Association]. WELLINGTON, Sept. 23. The Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. G 0. Hodgkins, said that every prccau- • ion Avould be taken to see that the voting papers at the general election were properly safeguarded during the week-end after election day. “The ballot boxes Avill be in tlie safe custody of the Post Office or the returning officer for the district,” he said.
