FLOWER SHOW.
ST. JAMES’ SPRING DISPLAY.
SUCCESSFUL OPENING DAY. LIST OF AWARDS. At St. James’ Flower Show, which opened yesterday afternoon and will conclude to night, entries in the daffodil section were few owing to the season being too far advanced for many growers. Mr. J. W. During tho afternoon Mrs. Motion gave a short talk to the exhibitors, explaining difficulties met with through the require nients of. the schedule not being adhered to.
In addition to the stallholders mentioned yesterday, tho ice cream and soft drinks were in charge of Miss E Crosbic and Mrs S. Muir, and Misses Muir and Lamb were in charge of the sweets stall.
