MAKING UP DEFICIENCY
COMMERCE CHAMBERS MOVE
Any deficiencies between the
to,tal amount guaranteed by consumers and the total amount required in this connection ior the reticulation of tdte Thames Coast with, electricity will he made up, by the Thames Chamber of Commerce.
This decision was arrived at this morning at the Commerce Council meeting, when the president, Mr. K, S. Hetherington, reported on the position as at present.
Now that the question of the guarantee has beon finalised, the next move lies with tho Thames Valley Electric Power Board, and it is expected that a statement as to when the worn is likely to be put in hand will be made in tho near future.
